Spains third largest city and an important harbour, Valencia has seen various modern developments including a huge modern "City of Arts and Sciences" building that has bankrupted the city. After successive flooding of the river Turia, it was rerouting the river around the city and the old riverbed now make more green space to the city. This sunken park is called the 'Garden of the Turia' and hosts various sculptures and playgrounds.
