The capital of Umbria is the university town of Perugia. Featuring underground Etruscan/Medieval complex, today it is known as a good place to learn languages (and for Perugina chocolates).
We visited the ceramics museum in Deruta which is famous for it's maiolica ceramics.

Our Hotel was literally a Palace. Originally built in the 1400s it was in use until the 1950s before recently being converted to a hotel.
