SORRENTO / AMALFI DRIVE / POSITANO - CAMPANIA

The Amalfi Drive is described as "a narrow road that threads along the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea". Positano clings to the cliffs in much the same manner and is reminiscent of the Greek Islands. Definitely an experience I would recommend.

SORRENTO - AMALFI DRIVE - POSITANO

Amalfi Coast Map
We stayed in Sorrento with its picturesque views of the Bay of Naples and awesome cliffs. We took a hair raising drive along the Amalfi coast to Positano, a town that cascades down the hill all the way to the waterline.
Mount Vesuvius from Sorrento, across the bay of Naples.
The Sirenusas (or the Gallos), are an archipelago of little islands and apparently the home of the Sirens. The archipelago consists of three main islands, Gallo Lungo, La Castelluccia, and La Rotonda.
Approaching Positano.
Cheers Positano.
Returning to Sorrento. View of Vesuvius from the hotel.
Our hotel had a spectacular view of the bay and its cliffs.
Sunset over the Mediterranean, with Capri on the horizon.
I see them everywhere.. I hear their voices in my head too!
