and the Pont Du Gard is a well preserved Roman aqueduct.

NIMES

We were in Nimes at the close of their festival "the feria". The amphitheatre was being used for either a concert or bull fights. Interesting baloons!

PONT DU GARD

The Pont du Gard was constructed by the Romans in the 1st century AD to supply water to Nimes.
